We've heard that phrase before, perhaps once too often - "Pwede na!" - to indicate acceptance of something less than what we really want - be it in clothing, food, emotions, or some other circumstance or situation. It signals a compromise - or worse yet, a surrender that things can't be better!

With our FA-GKC President's call to "Live Your Passion," 2016 presents the challenge to go beyond "Pwede na." In all things, when we are met at the crossroads with "Pwede na?" - aka "Puede pasar?" - let's kick it up a notch and say "Pwede PA!" - we CAN do more to escape the clutch of mediocrity!

On page 7 of this issue, we have the names of those who will lead us into this quest for greater excellence! Let us join them and be genuinely convinced of the value of service, the nobility of sharing one's self to fulfill the promise of a bigger picture.

The opportunity to shine even more awaits us...the burden may sometimes be heavy but there's a definite reward at the finish line - not just within FA-GKC but in the course of life!
