August and September are such special months in Kansas City for the Filipino community.

Despite knowing all the work that comes with it, everyone gets excited about the Ethnic Enrichment Festival held at Swope Park every year in August. It awakens that certain pride in sharing our hospitality, food, dance, music, art and culture in a veritable United Nations kind of setting!

In line with our organization's community service and outreach, the free annual Health Fair, jointly sponsored with several other notable organizations, also gets top billing in August!

And when September rolls in, there's an undeniable anticipation of our Association's most glamorous event, the annual September Affair.

Wonderful as these happenings are, even more awesome are the leaders, organizers and volunteers of these events. Time and time again, any and all hurdles are overcome because of KC Pinoy's unwavering support!
